We are looking for a talented change business analyst to join us in delivering upcoming data, operational resiliency, IT, and automation projects. We’re looking for someone with an extensive background as a business analyst within the insurance sector, ideally in the London Market. A problem solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to speak to various stakeholders from various backgrounds and interests.
Responsibilities

Leading Business Analysis work stream for significant and strategic projects

Projects involving multiple business units and multiple customers globally
-
Shaping – ability to take nebulous concepts and form into tangible deliverables
-
Gather business requirements (both functional and non-functional) to ensure that the full business and IT impact has been thought through
-
To explore solution(s) to the customer's requirements and to recommend the best approach
-
Form effective working relations across different sets of stakeholders
-
Analyse processes and data flows through effective engagement with the business and IT
-
Promote adoption of the target processes and procedures
-
Provide advice and guidance on functional interdependencies identified during requirements analysis
Typical projects and activities:
-
Business process mapping and reengineering
-
Analysis and validation of system and business requirements for implementation of new software and adaption of existing systems and processes

Act as the conduit between IT, Operations, Data and Business Process teams ensuring requirements are understood and each stakeholder has appropriate involvement

Design or refinement of business processes, creating TOMs and roadmaps
-
Reviewing business activities and identifying requirements
-
Implementation of new business processes
-
Provide input into a test teams definition of testing activities
Desired skills and experience
-
Relevant analysis specialism (i.e. tech, finance, process, data)
-
Experience in the Insurance Sector, ideally London Market

Experience of working in context of cloud tech
-
Adaptable to Agile and Waterfall methodologies
