ECMS has delivered numerous complex projects over the last few years, and we are looking for a talented Business Development Consultant to join us in growing our client base. 

We’re looking for someone who has a strong sales background, who thrives on developing the business and helping it grow. A problem solver with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to speak to a range of stakeholders from various backgrounds and interests. 

Key Outputs 

  • Driving outbound sales activities into specific targeted markets/clients based on a structured data driven approach. 

  • Engagement with Senior level stakeholders through a structured sales cycle and pipeline driving sales and relationship-based meetings. 

  • Ensuring all marketing related activities are followed up by phone/email/meetings to introduce ECMS, sell the key services, complimented by our technology partnerships, and introduce/set up/lead qualified sales prospect meetings. 

  • Through engagement turn consulting and SOW opportunities into video/face to face meetings, including our relevant Associate/FTE at the earliest stage, to turn prospect sales meetings into solution proposals and ultimately achieving projects in new clients, under new Master Service Agreements. 

  • Ensure we have a lead generation process that is captured in our CRM to drive inbound/outbound sales. 

  • To support these sales activities, we would expect to generate 20 meetings across the targeted clients each month. These meetings will allow us to qualify opportunities and generate a consistent pipeline of SoW or Managed Service proposals sent to a client each month as part of prospecting. The expectation that we push out c5 proposals/prospecting per month consisting of 1 or more consultants to deploy, with a target to hold >20 Associates/Consultants on deployment. 

  • Ensure that target clients have appropriate engagement and attack plans, adopting our sales methodology. 

  • Supporting internal/external partners – marketing/content/finance/operations 

  • Attending online events/round tables/social events. 

Desired skills and experience 

  • >5 years relevant B2B/B2C sales experience from a services, consultancy or technology sector developing and selling solutions to Cx/Cx-2 level stakeholders following a structured sales cycle (Miller Heiman or MEDDIC). 

  • Insurance/technology/financial services sector background ideally. 

  • Location flexible. 

  • Strong IT skills with experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM and a genuine interest in technology. 

  • Tenacious and energetic approach to developing new opportunities. 

  • Aptitude to learn and develop at pace.
